Matthew is a data scientist and developer at Tritonia Scientific who holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics (2007), an MSc in Physical Oceanography (2008), and a PhD focused on robotic observation of ocean turbulence and mixing (2015). He had a six-year tenure as a researcher at the Scottish Association for Marine Science before moving to Tritonia in 2021 and has extensive experience developing and delivering a comprehensive robotic ocean ecosystem monitoring network, as well as many years working with environmental data of all shapes and sizes. Currently, Matthew is at the helm of advancing Tritonia Scientific’s machine learning capabilities, while creating bespoke apps for sensor control, data logging, and showcasing our 3D photogrammetry datasets.
